Kolhapuri sandals have been handmade in Kolhapur, western India, for generations, and the name comes from the city. The open, flat profile keeps them light and airy, so they're easy to wear from morning to night. Because genuine leather breathes, they stay comfortable in warm weather, and they mould to your foot over time.
They sit on a traditional leather sole that's light, flexible and breathable. As with any leather sole, they're best worn on dry days.
Wear them with jeans or chinos at the weekend, for everyday errands and trips out or with a kurta or shalwar kameez for Eid, weddings and mehndis. They come in UK sizes 6–13.
Wipe them down after wear and condition the leather every so often. If they get wet, let them dry naturally, away from direct heat.
