Kolhapuri sandals have been handmade in Kolhapur, western India, for generations, and the name comes from the city. The open, flat profile keeps them light and airy, so they're easy to wear from morning to night. Real leather lets your feet breathe on hot days and gradually shapes itself to your foot.
They sit on a traditional leather sole that's light, flexible and breathable. As with any leather sole, they're best worn on dry days.
Wear them with jeans or chinos at the weekend, for everyday errands and trips out or with a kurta or shalwar kameez for Eid, weddings and mehndis. You can order them in UK 6 to UK 13.
To keep them looking their best, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth after wear, let them dry naturally away from direct heat if they get wet, and treat the leather with a little conditioner every so often.
